Reformat of previous three books
By Russell M. Warner on Jan 31, 2013
This book is a compilation of the author's previous three books: Chinese Knots for Beaded Jewelry, Ornamental Knots for Beaded Jewelry, and Celtic Knots for Beaded Jewelry. All of the knots are in the previous books: no new knots appear here! It is a good deal if you don't have the other books (which are great books!), but if you already have them, spend your money elsewhere.
Knots - but not for me
By Marg on Apr 24, 2013
Some lovely projects. Instructions were easy to follow shown in diagram form and photos. I made one but did not find the button knots as easy as suggested. Have decided to complete it with beads not knots.
Easy to Understand with Good Images to Follow
By Heather A. Moore on Nov 04, 2013
It has great and easy to understand visual samples that illustrate some step by step processes. There are plenty of knots, i.e. there is a good variety to work from. The book is also easy to read. The font's not to small, nor do they give too much to read with too few pictures.

I really liked this book because it is easy to follow the instructions. I love the pictures, it really helps
Great book for beginners, like me.

They did a wonderful job with the diagrams. There are drawn steps and actual photo step by step diagrams. Even the hardest knots become fairly easy to do. My only complaint would have to be that I would like more knots and patterns. I hope they create a second book!

I have not tried a knot from this book yet, but look forward to it. The pictures are of outstanding quality. The book begins with the basics -- explains about different types of knotting material and which is better than the other for which project. Ex., 1 mm poly satin may be better for certain knotting, leather may be better for something else. It covers the tools, the must have, and the nice to have. This book shows how to finish your knot, and gives project ideas. It is easy to read and the pictures are large enough you don't need a magnifying glass to see what to do.
Lots of Knots
By Angie on Apr 05, 2014
This book shows you a lot of knots. A lot of the knots are very hard. This book does contain patterns in it, but she does not do a very good job explaining them in word or picture. This is a good book for learning Chinese and Celtic Knots.

Excellent! I've done one knot already. Really nice pictures and easy to follow instructions. I would suggest this book for beginners.
Hard to follow diagrams
By Judith S. Condliffe on Jun 22, 2013
Beautiful book with many photos. I am spacially challenged and could have used a couple more diagrams showing the path of the knots. But I think as I work with the book, I will get better at them. I have looked at other knot instruction books and it appears that there isn't a better one available.
