Must Read Manual for Coaches
By Edie Summers on Feb 12, 2012
This manual is a must have/read for any coach - in any field of coaching - for learning all the skills and know-how that go into a masterful coach's toolbox. The information presented, as well the writing itself, is cutting edge, extremely helpful, and incredibly wise. It is the best blend of science, intuition, and experience. I also recommend participating in Well Coaches training as well, which is so helpful for practicing and networking, etc.

this is an excellent, in-depth and practical resource for those studying to become a wellness coach. It would increase the ease of use if the book was tabbed by chapter.

There are better, more instructive and constructive books out there and for a much better price.
By Jean Timmons on Nov 05, 2013
First of all, for the price, you should get something with a little more meat in it. Second, I could have taken this in to copy and bind it for much less than the cost. Third, the information was sub-par and much of it could be found on the internet for free. I was going to take the course, but I think I'll save my 1,000 plus plus dollars.

I was considering taking the training to become a certified health and wellness coach, so I bought the book. It's a great resource. Well researched and yet not too clinical. I decided to take the training this spring and I'll keep the book as part of my professional library.
