Good book

By Lord Rigolsby on Jan 20, 2013

The text itself is fine. Good examples and discussions, although a few of the topics aren't explained very well. I borrowed the book in college and I found that I needed it for the PE so I bought it here. For a basic environmental engineering text, it's pretty good. I'm giving this particular seller of the textbook (Apex Media) 3 stars because I ordered it used in good condition and I received it with a broken binding and the appendices and index had come completely loose. A little Elmer's glue put it all back together sufficiently but I wouldn't call that "Good" condition.

Fast and caring.

Told me when they shipped and when to expect it, and the book came at the earliest ship date.

Environmental Engineering text

By Geostud on Apr 27, 2012

This is an excellent textbook for anyone taking an introductory graduate level Environmental Engineering course. For what the professor doesn't mention in the lecture, the textbook will give you. Also, the authors have a creative way of presenting the material, not to mention a sense of humor. I highly recommend this textbook. Oh, did I mention I used this textbook for a graduate level introductory envr. engr. course, and I'm not even an engineer. Awesome text,... if that's possible?!

Decent

By Derrick Vinson on Feb 13, 2013

Decent price for the book, it could have been lower since it is an older edition. The books condition was pretty good. I was satisfied with my purchase.

useful info, hard to navigate

By Azairah on Apr 08, 2012

This book definitely contains useful information, however I was extremely annoyed whenever I had to use it because there is no chapter indicator on any of the pages. I'll be working on one of the end of chapter problems, want to look something up, and instead of being able to easily flip back to the beginning of the chapter you almost have to look it up in the table of contents because it's impossible to tell where in the chapter you are due to lack of labeling. Very, very irritating and time consuming.

Good book

This aided me in reviewing for the PE exam. not so much in the actual exam itself. But that is more based on this specific exam.
