A MUST READ BOOK
By Michelle H on Nov 19, 2013
I really like the book. It could help many brothers in our prison. I wish more people would reach out to our brother, sons, and friends in prison. People tend to have an out of sight out of mind to people who are in jail and forget about them. Hill is a very nice and passionate person I had to chance to see him in person. I believe if more people would get this book to people in prison we wouldn't have as many people returning to prison.
very good book

i really dug where he went with this book and how he broke the lingo down on the inside and how he responded. i happen to walk by this book recently and had to check it out and really enjoyed it, though its a very serious read and journey. one of those books that i would recommend.
book not available to the incarcerated

Why would publisher put this out only in hard-copy when prisoners are not allowed to have hard-cover books? Incarcerated will have to wait until it comes out in paperback.
The Best Yet

I don't have the words to express my appreciation for what Hill Harper does in this book. Not only can it be a lifeline for a person who is incarcerated, but it can provide guidance to any young person who is looking for order and meaning in his life.

The book hits home. It's encouraging and very informative. As a parent whose son is in jail, I gained a new knowledge of the system.

I read this book with my dear friend who is incarcerated for 27-33 years. Hills words are a motivation to keep him moving forward. I enjoyed this book a great deal I'm so happy I got to read it with him .
Thank you, Hill Harper, for a memorable book -LETTERS TO AN INCARCERATED BROTHER
By Helen Schneider on Dec 08, 2013
the message sent by Hill Harper is engaging and positive. I found that the organization of "things to do" was helpful for even those who are not incarcerated - planning resumes, schedules of goals, budgets, etc. As the message in your review says, it is a book of encouragement, hope and healing and I found it to be a book to be cherished.
So a huge fan of Hill Harper and Amazon
