This was a text used in a college class. I actually read the whole book. I thought the material was presented in a very well-written manner that made it interesting to read besides being educational. I sold the book after the class ended, and now I regret it. I wish I would have kept it.
Wardlaw's Perspectives in Nutrition

I purchased this as a class textbook, but the information within is so interesting that I intend to keep it for reference. It's very well written. I was disappointed that I paid for the 3-5 day shipping and didn't receive it until eleven days after purchase. It was late for the start date of my class and I did not receive a refund for the postage.

I bought it for my nutrition class; however, the contents of the book is very organized. I think it would be a good review for the people who wants to review and study for nutrition.

The corners of the cover are a little worn and there are some markings in a few pages, but nothing that I was not already aware of when I purchased the book.

Just What I Needed

The product was exactly what I was looking for and came just as described. I needed this book was for a class. Arrived in a timely manner.
It's a solid textbook.

For the class I'm taking, our teacher bases her tests and assignments off her lecture mostly, and the book is used more as a reference. So I'm not sure how "fair" my review will be since I'm not using it as heavily as I've used other texts. It's a solid book, lots of colored pictures and diagrams to help understanding and keep you interested. Occasionally, I'll read a section and have more questions that weren't answered in the book, as in deeper physiological questions related to an accessory organ of digestion for example, so in that way, I'm not sure thorough the book is, but again, because we're not using it conventionally, maybe I'm missing details that are there, but just haven't been part of our study. This is the only nutrition class I've ever taken, so I can't really compare it to anything else except for my past physio and anatomy and micro textbooks.

This book was supposed to be "gently used" with "minor highlighting" and that is not at all what I recieved. The book's binding is falling apart and the book as an whole has extensive wear. Also, there is highlighting on every page and in most cases more than whole paragraphs are highlighted. I will not be using this seller again.
