Editorial Reviews

Review
Following up her first offering about "Les Bambinos Dangereuses," Dent gives readers the same ultra-hip slangy rollicking ride through the leisure world of three-far from average-British teen girls. Many of the original cast of characters is back, including the rock superstar Spike Saunders, but this time instead of the parental units forbidding music festival attendance, the girls are allowed to go under the chaperonage of Fleur's older sister, recently returned from trekking in Nepal. Following the same unrealistic plot lines of the original, everything that any girl could dream of happening at a rock concert occurs. There are totally lush boys to snuggle, a place to get henna tattoos, and a chance to get into the VIP area reserved for the rich and famous. Less frenetically written this time around, this builds nicely into an almost logical, yet vastly unlikely ending that will satisfy those readers out for lighthearted vicarious thrills. Cotton-candy fun. (Fiction. YA) (Kirkus Reviews)

Product Description
It's exactly one year after the legendary Blackwell Live and the irrepressible dangerous bambinos, Ronnie, Claude and Fleur are now fifteen. Beware of the things you wish for, ladies, you might just get them. In Ronnie's case, it's the gorgeous Jimi Steele, who, despite being the most beautiful boyfriend in the world, has also shaped up to be a prize flaky buttmunch. When Jimi manages to ruin the LBD's big night out, the girls need to reconsider what it means to be a dangerous bambino. It does NOT mean mooching about the Fantastic Voyage waiting for a call, or putting your mates before a boy, it means taking control. And super minx Fleur Swan decides that a trip to Astlebury Festival is the best way to do it. This time, the LBD are determined to go. All they need is tickets (sold out), permission to go (no chance) and a lift (oh-huh). Oh dear
