Editorial Reviews

Review
Each topic is dealt with in sufficient detail to provide provision for examinations...it would be useful light reading for a candidate about to take the FRCS Urol...The authors are to be congratulated on [their book being] yet another triumph is this excellent series. The Surgeon, Vol 5, No 3

Review
`Review from previous edition ...It consists of 19 chapters, which present a pithy account of subjects ranging from incontinence, urology surgery and equipment, and stone disease. There is also a useful section entitled urological eponyms. This handbook is primarily aimed at the trainee, but I think it can be studied by trainees at all levels. FY1 and FY2 doctors would find it useful vade macum. Controversies are generally handled well, e.g. the section on screening of prostate cancer. Each topic is dealt with in sufficient detail to provide provision for examinations and I suspect if would be useful light reading for a candidate about to take the FRCS Urol. The authors are to be congratulated on yet another triumph in this excellent series.' L Moffat, The Surgeon, June 2007 --This text refers to the Paperback edition.
