Product Description
The orphaned colt only wants two things: a proper name and to live with his herd. After arriving in Texas, the names comes easily enough-and he is finally with the herd-until flood waters carry him away. He faces Fatback the wild hog, a pack of cur dogs that want him for lunch, and a river so swollen and muddy that the thought of being in it makes him shiver. All alone, he has to find his way back to the River Bottom Ranch.
