About the Author
Ed Decter is a screenwriter-director-producer. Along with writingpartner John J. Struass, he penned the blockbuster romantic comedy There's Something About Mary, starring Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz, as well as the hit comedies The Lizzie McGuire Movie, starring Hillary Duff, The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3, starring Tim Allen, and the computer animated Disney film The Wild. Currently Decter and Strauss are writing the comedy Lust for Life at Disney. They are producing the Fox feature X-Girls, starring Cameron Diaz, and the Disney comedies Daddy Dearest with Shia LeBoeuf and The Untitled Raven Simone Project. Additionally they are executive producing Kenosha Pirates, a movie for the Disney Channel.

Decter and Strauss have also executive produced and created five network television shows, including Chicago Sons, starring Jason Bateman, The Closer, starring Tom Selleck, and Odd Man Out. They are currently writing an hour-long drama pilot for Pariah Entertainment and Sony Television.

Outriders is Ed's first foray into publishing. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter, and German shepherd.
