About the Author
PATRICIA HANBIDGE is a horticulturist living in Saskatoon. She is the Program Coordinator for Horticultural Programs for the Extension Division at the University of Saskatchewan. Patricia coordinates the Master Gardener Program and the Prairie Horticulture Certificate Program. She manages the GardenLine Office, which is a horticultural information service to the public. Patricia also is a regular contributer to the Gardening Column in the Saskatoon Sun, the Regina Leader Post and various other weeklies throughout the province.She is the Horticultural Editor for the Gardener for the Prairies Magazine. Patricia is heard regularly on CBC Radio 1. She also has a private horticultural consulting practice specializing in Landscape Design. LAURA PETERS is a certified Master Gardener with 12 gardening books to her credit. She has gained valuable experience in every aspect of the horticultural industry in a career that has spanned more than 16 years. Laura especially enjoys sharing her practical knowledge of organic gardening, plant varieties and gardening products with fellow gardeners.
